A Health Empowerment Story
By David Emerald & Dr. Scott Conard

Diabetes is a worldwide epidemic that touches a wide range of people and health issues. While an unexpected diagnosis and ongoing care can be overwhelming, TED* for Diabetes presents a unique and practical way to approach diabetes, or any health challenge.

Following on the success of The Power of TED*, the new TED*for Diabetes is a story of successful behavior change and how to make the shift from a negative reaction to diabetes (as an enemy) to a positive and empowering way to relate to the disease.

No matter what your relationship is to diabetes, we invite you to read TED* for Diabetes and share our enthusiasm for these unique and effective behavior techniques.

TED* for Diabetes will take you on an inspiring journey of discovery and hope. This story is for anyone struggling to come to terms with diabetes. With a dash of humor the authors provide an easy recipe for living the life you always wanted – even with diabetes.”

“Rather than reacting to diabetes as a persecutor, I now saw the diagnosis as a challenger calling me to take responsibility for the state of my health, to learn how to manage my life with the realities of the disease, and to begin making choices.”
